Union of Bulgarian Tourist Guides
The Union of Bulgarian Tourist Guides is a non-profit NGO,
dedicated to represent and protect the professional interests of its members,
to maintain and improve expertise in the field of tourist guiding as well
as to develop and propose legislative acts regarding tourist industry.
The Union is seated in Varna and organizes majority of Bulgarian tourist
guides in the main tourist centers of the country.
Main activities are: training courses for beginners and professional guides;
maintenance of nation-wide registry of capable tourist guides and their
promotion to touroperators, designing of new tourist, routes and promotion
of new tourist destinations within the country, international cooperation
with similar organizations abroad.
The Union is open to individuals as well as tourist, companies and other
NGO.
