Bourgas Regional Tourist Chamber

The Bourgas Regional Tourist Chamber (BRTC) was established on 27th of April 1992 with participation of tourist companies from the Bourgas Region. Through the next years members of the chamber as well became transport companies, advertisement, and software houses, producers of equipment and etc. The collective members are around 6 % - local councils of tourism, association "Eco and rural tourism", The Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bourgas.
The Chamber celebrates its 10-year activity like representative, non-profit organization of regional tourist branch with over 90 members. Through these years most of the members of the Chamber participate in the all regional and national meetings for discussing and deciding actual problems of tourist practice. The BRTC take an active part in preparation of programs for tourism development.
The representatives of the Chamber take part with suggestions and attitudes into the process of preparation of first and second Law for Tourism. Together with the Varna Tourist Chamber for the first time BRTC posed a question for the taxing of tourist companies with VAT. It was proved, the tourism is "export on place" and the dials should be liberate from this tax or would have specific treating.
The Bourgas Regional Tourist Chamber opportunely assists and supports on regional and national level the improving of the infrastructure in the separate municipalities of the Region. It assists firms for overcoming of the difficulties, which they met in their work by arranging regular meetings with Tax agencies, Customs, Police, and the Commission of the trade and protection of the consumers. As an activity of BRTC, the positive results are achieved by delivering of specific signals for companies "phantoms" to the corresponding agencies for check and control.
BRTC regularly take place meetings with the national representatives from Bourgas electoral Region for acquitting them with the problems of the tourist companies and for discussions of suggestions for change of some normative statements.
The ambitions of the Bourgas Regional Tourist Chamber are to extent and develop its activity for the benefit of regional and national tourism.
